The Public Works Department’s mission is to provide the highest quality public works services to our residential and business communities, as well as, other City departments, while overseeing the City’s infrastructure. This mission is accomplished through a balanced and prudent use of resources, technology, innovations, and partnerships with local service providers in the City. The Department is responsible for the engineering, permitting, maintenance and operation of the City's infrastructure, including: streets, sidewalks, alleys, public parking lots, traffic signals, etc.
